Deepcut Business Association

The Deepcut Business Association (DBA) has been formed to help represent the interests of businesses located within Deepcut.

With the Princess Royal Barracks redevelopment master-plan now progressing and having been presented at the recent public consultation hosted by Skanska/Studio Hive, it is clear that there are going to be significant changes within Deepcut. These changes will affect many issues of importance to local businesses: for example parking, traffic, speed limits, pedestrian footfall, public transport, infrastructure and local schooling.

The Deepcut Neighbourhood Forum (DNF) has been established to help to represent local interests, and ultimately to produce a Neighbourhood Plan, for the wider area of Deepcut that is outside the PRB boundary. This neighbourhood plan will combine the views of local residents with the views of local businesses in order to create the unified development plan for the approved Deepcut area.

Surrey heath Borough Council (SHBC) has validated the area that the Deepcut

Neighbourhood Plan will cover, (which excludes the PRB site), and has recognised the DNF as a body representing local interests.

The DBA is an association of a wide variety of businesses in Deepcut, it is separate from the DNF, and will have a clear voice within the Deepcut Neighbourhood Plan.

As a local business owner you should join the DBA, and get involved to ensure that your concerns are addressed. Together, the DNF can help the DBA to have their voices heard.

Keep up with what is happening locally with the Mytchett, Frimley Green & Deepcut Society. Find us on Facebook @MytchettFrimleyGreenDeepcutSociety on Twitter @MFGDSociety and with lots more information on our website at  And don’t forget there is also our Noticeboard on Frimley Green village green.

We aim to support our local community in many ways from planting trees to scrutinising planning applications, and from tackling rubbish to protecting our community assets. To support our work - which is all done by local volunteers - costs just £5 per year per household. We think that is pretty good value.
